1 qty of (6.5 ounce) jar oil-packed tuna, drained

1 tbsp of minced green onion

2 tbsp of finely diced celery

2 tsp of capers, drained

1 tsp of Asian chile paste (such as sambal oelek)

2 tbsp of mayonnaise, or more to taste

0.5 cup of fresh mozzarella cheese

1 qty of salt and ground black pepper to taste

2 tbsp of softened butter, divided

2 qty of thick slices French bread

0.5 cup of shredded sharp white Cheddar cheese, divided

1 qty of pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
