Today's recipe is seasoned seaweed sheets (gim-muchim), my all-time favorite fast emergency side dish. When I want something quick and simple to prepare and eat and all I have on hand is kimchi, this is a side dish I can whip up quickly and serve with kimchi and rice. It's essentially just toasted gim combined with spice sauce, but my family loves it every time I make it. The lovely sea breeze fragrance is the finest element of this meal. The sesame oil and garlic enhance the distinct taste of gim. It has a salty, sweet, and garlicky flavor with an airy, chewy texture. And it just requires a few ingredients and is very fast and simple to prepare.

2 qty of garlic cloves, minced

2 qty of green onions, chopped

1 tbsp of soy sauce

1 tbsp of toasted toasted sesame oil

1 tsp of sugar (optional)

1 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds, plus a little extra for garnish
