DishPad thai, phat thai, or phad thai, is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as street food and at most restaurants in Thailand as part of the country's cuisine. It is typically made with rice noodles, shrimp, peanuts, a scrambled egg, and bean sprouts, among other vegetables.

For the sauce: shallots, tamarind paste, palm sugar, garlic, fish sauce.
For the pad thai: Shallots and garlic (omit if making bulk sauce in advance), dried shrimp, pressed tofu, sweet preserved radish, chili flakes (not pictured), eggs, roasted peanuts, rice noodles (medium), bean sprouts, garlic chives.
Noodle: dry rice noodles, size medium.
