2 qty of onions, halved and sliced

1 qty of large carrot, diced

2 qty of bay leaves

2 tbsp of plain flour

0 tsp of English mustard

400 qty of grams of diced lean stewing steak

2 qty of sheep kidneys, halved, cored and cut into chunks

200 qty of ml of stout

200 qty of ml of strong beef stock

1 qty of mashed potato and greens, to serve

300 qty of grams of plain flour

1 tsp of baking powder

150 qty of grams of beef suet

1 qty of soft butter, for greasing

1 qty of chopped parsley
