Beef Mechado is a Filipino-style beef stew made of larded beef chunks braised in tomato sauce with potatoes and carrots. It’s a delicious and filling dish that pairs well with steamed rice.

Step1 Marinate beef in MAGGI® Soy and calamansi juice.
Step 2 Sauté garlic and onion in oil. Add beef with the marinade. Pour water and simmer until beef is tender. Add water as needed.
Step 3 Add tomato sauce, potato, carrot and bell pepper and continue to simmer until sauce is thick. Season with MAGGI® MAGIC SARAP®. Transfer on a serving plate and serve.
