Tom yum soup is the most well-known recipe in the category of Thai Soups. Generally, it includes shrimps but a vegetarian version is also very delightful. It is very quick and easy to make and also enriched with aromatic flavours that make it a healthy yet delicious salad.

Pound chilli, ginger, and garlic
Take water or stock in a pan and add the pounded mixture and onion to the pan and bring the water to boil.
Add vegetable or chicken or prawn. Cover, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, until broth has reduced slightly.
Season it with salt to taste, sugar, and soya sauce and finish it with lemon juice.
