Directions

Step

Set the Ninja Foodi to "Sear/Sauté" on High. Heat the oil and add the lamb. Season with salt, parsley, smoked paprika, pilaf spices, black pepper, basil, marjoram, and bay leaves. Sauté until the lamb begins to brown.

Step

Add the diced onions to the lamb and sauté until softened. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until the mixture thickens slightly. Add enough water to cover the lamb, then switch the Ninja Foodi to "Pressure Cook" mode for 10 minutes with Quick Release.

Step

Once the pressure is released, open the lid and spread the rinsed rice evenly over the lamb mixture without stirring. Gently press the whole garlic bulb into the rice. Sprinkle with raisins, grated carrots, chili peppers, and sliced bell peppers. Smooth the top with a spoon.

Step

Close the lid and "Pressure Cook" for an additional 3 minutes with Quick Release.

Step

Remove the garlic bulb and sprinkle the pilaf with fresh parsley and chives. Using a wide spoon or fork, gently fluff the pilaf, lifting from the bottom to mix the flavors. Serve warm and enjoy the tender lamb, fluffy rice, and bold spices.

Tips for this recipe

• Rinse the rice thoroughly (at least five times) to remove excess starch, ensuring a fluffy pilaf. • For an even richer flavor, use lamb or chicken broth instead of water. • Save the garlic bulb for spreading on bread or mixing into the pilaf—it becomes soft and sweet! This Ninja Foodi lamb pilaf delivers a burst of bold, savory flavors with minimal effort. Perfect for feeding a crowd or spicing up a family dinner night!
