The air-frying technique ensures a light and healthy indulgence that's perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • spring roll wrappers - 10.0 pcs
  • shredded cabbage - 1.0 cup
  • julienned carrots - 1.0 cup
  • sliced bell peppers (assorted colors) - 1.0 cup
  • bean sprouts - 1.0 cup
  • sliced mushrooms - 0.5 cup
  • green onions, sliced - 2.0 pcs
  • soy sauce - 2.0 tbsp
  • sesame oil - 1.0 tbsp
  • grated ginger - 1.0 tsp

Cooking Steps

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, sliced bell peppers, bean sprouts, sliced mushrooms, and green onions.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic powder, and sugar. Pour the sauce over the vegetable mixture and toss until well combined.

Step 3

Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing towards you.

Step 4

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling onto the bottom third of the wrapper.

Step 5

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tucking it under the vegetables.

Step 6

Fold the sides of the wrapper inward, and then roll the spring roll tightly towards the top corner.

Step 7

Mix cornstarch with a small amount of water to create a paste. Seal the top corner of the wrapper by brushing the cornstarch paste along the edge.

Step 8

Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Step 9

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Step 10

Place the spring rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.

Step 11

Air fry the spring rolls for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden and crispy.

Step 12

Remove the spring rolls from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.

Step 13
