Begin by roasting the gram flour in a heavy-bottomed pan on low heat. Stir continuously to prevent burning until the flour turns golden brown and fragrant.
Add the ghee to the pan and mix well. Keep stirring until the mixture comes together and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool down for a few minutes.
Add the powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the mixture and mix well.
Take a small amount of the mixture in your palm and shape it into a ball. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used up.
Garnish each ladoo with some chopped nuts.
Let the Besan Ladoos cool down completely before storing them in an airtight container.
