
Marinate the chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
In a large pan, heat oil and butter. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and sauté for another minute. Stir in tomato puree, cashew paste, garam masala, and kasuri methi. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Return the chicken to the pan. Add cream and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a dollop of butter. Serve hot with naan bread or rice.
