Deviled eggs are a classic appetizer that are quick and easy to make. Hard-boiled egg yolks are mixed with mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings, then piped back into the egg whites for a creamy, flavorful bite-sized treat. Garnished with a sprinkle of paprika, these deviled eggs are the perfect addition to any occasion.

Ingredients

  • eggs - 6.0 pcs
  • mayonnaise - 0.3 cup
  • yellow mustard - 1.0 tsp
  • salt - 0.1 tsp
  • black pepper - 0.1 tsp
  • Paprika - 1.0 as needed

Prep Time

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Place the eggs in a saucepan and add enough water to cover them by about an inch. Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Once the water is boiling, remove the pan from the heat, cover it with a lid, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes.

Step 3

After 10 minutes, drain the hot water and immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool them down quickly.

Step 4

Once the eggs are completely cooled, peel them and cut them in half lengthwise. Scoop out the yolks and transfer them to a mixing bowl.

Step 5

Add the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper to the mixing bowl with the egg yolks. Mix everything together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 6

Use a spoon or a piping bag to fill the egg white halves with the deviled egg mixture.

Step 7

Sprinkle paprika over the tops of the filled deviled eggs for a colorful finishing touch.

Step 8

Refrigerate the deviled eggs until you're ready to serve them.
