  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar - 1.5 dash
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1.5 as needed
  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled - 1.4 quarter
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur or rum (optional) - 10.0 can
  • 24 ladyfingers (savoiardi) - 2.2 pt
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting - 5.0 fl oz

Step 5

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Step 6

Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.

Step 7

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.

Step 8

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
