In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, gram flour, melted butter, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, red chili powder, and salt.
Gradually add water to the mixture and knead it into a smooth and soft dough.
Heat oil for deep-frying in a pan on medium heat.
Meanwhile, fill the dough into a Chakli maker or a piping bag with a star nozzle.
Press the dough out into spiral shapes onto a greased plate or a butter paper.
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the Chaklis to the oil and fry until they turn golden brown on both sides.
Remove the Chaklis from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
Let the Chaklis cool down completely before storing them in an airtight container.
