Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour - 1.0 cup
  • whole milk - 1.0 cup
  • large eggs - 4.0 pcs
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
  • Vegetable oil or beef drippings (for greasing the pan) - 1.0 as needed
8 Servings
Prep Time

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and generously grease a muffin tin or individual pudding molds with oil or beef drippings.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, and salt until you have a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Place the greased muffin tin or molds in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, allowing the oil or drippings to get hot.

Step 4

Carefully pour the batter into each section, filling them about halfway.

Step 5

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the puddings have risen and turned golden brown.

Step 6

Avoid opening the oven door during baking to ensure the puddings rise properly.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve immediately while they are puffed and airy.
