A simple and tasty recipe for a grilled cheese and chicken sandwich with fresh avocado and tomato slices. This sandwich is packed with healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and protein, making it a nutritious and filling meal that your kids will love.

Ingredients

  • bread - 4.0 pcs
  • butter, softened - 2.0 tbsp
  • cheddar cheese - 4.0 pcs
  • chicken patties, cooked according to package instructions - 2.0 pcs
  • ripe avocado, sliced - 1.0 whole
  • large tomato, sliced - 1.0 whole
  • Salt and pepper - 1.0 to taste

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

Step 2

Butter one side of each bread slice.

Step 3

Place 2 slices of bread butter side down on the pan or griddle.

Step 4

Add a slice of cheese on each slice of bread and top with a chicken patty, avocado, and tomato slices.

Step 5

Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6

Add another slice of cheese on top of the vegetables.

Step 7

Place the remaining slices of bread on top of the cheese, butter side up.

Step 8

Cook the sandwich until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 9

Remove from the pan or griddle and cut in half.

Step 10

Serve the grilled chicken and cheese sandwich with avocado and tomato slices and enjoy!
