The Grilled Fajita Wrap is a mouthwatering creation originating from the Tex-Mex cuisine, a fusion of Mexican and American flavors. This recipe showcases marinated and grilled slices of beef or chicken, combined with vibrant saut ed bell peppers and onions. Ingredients

  • beef or chicken, sliced into thin strips - 1.0 lb
  • olive oil - 2.0 tbsp
  • garlic, minced - 2.0 pcs
  • lime juice - 1.0 tbsp
  • chili powder - 1.0 tsp
  • cumin - 1.0 tsp
  • paprika - 0.5 tsp
  • Salt and pepper - 1.0 to taste
  • red bell pepper, sliced - 1.0 pcs
  • green bell pepper, sliced - 1.0 pcs

Cooking Steps

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.

Step 2

Place the sliced beef or chicken in the marinade, ensuring it is evenly coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the marinated meat to the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until nicely charred and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Step 5

In the same pan or a skillet, saut the sliced bell peppers and onions until they are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat.

Warm the flour tortillas according to the package instructions.

To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla on a clean surface. Add a generous portion of the grilled meat, followed by the saut ed bell peppers and onions.

Step 8

Top with your choice of salsa, a dollop of sour cream, and fresh cilantro.

Step 9

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it tightly from bottom to top, creating a wrap.

Step 10

Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Step 11

Serve the Grilled Fajita Wraps immediately, either whole or sliced in half, and enjoy the delicious fusion of Tex-Mex flavors!
