Ingredients

  • salmon fillets - 4.0 pcs
  • soy sauce - 2.0 tbsp
  • honey - 2.0 tbsp
  • rice vinegar - 2.0 tbsp
  • sesame oil - 2.0 tbsp
  • garlic - 2.0 pcs
  • fresh ginger - 1.0 tbsp
  • toasted sesame seeds - 2.0 tbsp
  • black pepper - 1.0 to taste
  • green onions - 1.0 to taste

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the glaze.

Step 3

Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, on the prepared baking sheet. Season the fillets with black pepper.

Step 4

Brush the glaze generously over the top and sides of each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well coated.

Step 5

Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds evenly over the glazed salmon fillets, pressing lightly to adhere them to the surface.

Step 6

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 7

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Step 8

Serve the Glazed Salmon Fillet with Sesame over steamed white rice or quinoa, alongside steamed vegetables.

Step 9

Garnish with chopped green onions for added freshness and a pop of color.
