Preheat your oven to 3500F (1750C).
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with some of the melted butter.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
Carefully lay one sheet of phyllo dough in the greased baking dish, and brush it with melted butter.
Repeat the process with 7 more sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each one with melted butter.
Sprinkle a generous amount of the walnut mixture evenly over the eighth layer of phyllo dough.
Lay another sheet of phyllo dough over the walnut mixture, and brush it with melted butter.
Repeat the process with 7 more sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each one with melted butter.
Continue layering the walnut mixture and phyllo dough, using 8 sheets of phyllo dough for each layer, until you run out of ingredients.
Cut the baklava into 12 equal pieces, and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the baklava is baking, prepare the syrup by combining the honey, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, until it thickens.
When the baklava is finished baking, remove it from the oven and immediately pour the hot syrup over it, making sure to cover every piece.
Let the baklava cool to room temperature before serving.
