Papdi Chaat is a classic Indian snack that's packed with flavor and texture. It's made with crispy papdis, boiled potatoes, chickpeas, yogurt, and a variety of chutneys. This Papdi Chaat recipe is quick and easy to make, and it's perfect for satisfying your cravings for something savory and spicy.

Ingredients

  • papdis (store-bought or homemade) - 22.5 pcs
  • boiled and cubed potatoes - 1.0 cup
  • boiled chickpeas - 1.0 cup
  • plain yogurt - 1.0 cup
  • cumin powder - 0.5 tsp
  • coriander powder - 0.5 tsp
  • red chili powder - 0.5 tsp
  • chaat masala - 0.5 tsp
  • tamarind chutney - 2.5 tbsp
  • mint-coriander chutney - 2.5 tbsp

Cooking Steps

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt to make the yogurt sauce.

Step 2

Place the papdis on a serving plate and top each papdi with boiled potatoes and chickpeas.

Step 3

Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the papdis, potatoes, and chickpeas.

Step 4

Add a spoonful of tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney on top of each papdi.

Step 5

Sprinkle some sev over the papdis and garnish with chopped cilantro leaves.

Step 6
