Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour - 1.5 cup
  • baking powder - 1.0 tsp
  • baking soda - 0.5 tsp
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
  • ground cinnamon - 1.0 tsp
  • ground nutmeg - 0.5 tsp
  • ground cloves - 0.3 tsp
  • unsalted butter, softened - 0.5 cup
  • granulated sugar - 1.0 cup
  • large eggs - 2.0 pcs

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Preheat the air fryer to 3500F (1800C) for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Step 3

In a separate large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 4

Add eggs to the butter-sugar mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 5

Stir in pumpkin puree, diced apples, and vanilla extract.

Step 6

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Step 7

Grease a cake pan that fits into your air fryer basket.

Step 8

Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.

Step 9

Place the cake pan in the air fryer basket.

Step 10

Air fry the Pumpkin Apple Cake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the cake with powdered sugar if desired.
