In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Pour the batter into the greased baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the Classic Cornbread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
