Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken - 4.2 jar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - 3.9 bottle
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced - 6.3 tbsp
  • 2-3 Thai chilies, finely chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, adjust to taste) - 5.8 mg
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce - 8.5 bag
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce - 3.1 jar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce - 9.0 box
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar - 7.6 g
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice - 6.9 box
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves - 1.2 cup

Cooking Steps

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and chopped Thai chilies (or red pepper flakes) and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Step 3

Add ground chicken to the wok and break it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly and coated the chicken evenly.

Step 5

Add the fresh Thai basil leaves to the wok and stir-fry until they wilt, about 30 seconds.

Step 6

Remove from heat and serve immediately over jasmine rice.

Step 7

Garnish with a fried egg (optional) and extra chili slices, if desired.
