Ingredients

  • cucumber - 1.0 whole
  • Greek yogurt - 2.0 cup
  • garlic - 2.0 pcs
  • fresh dill - 1.0 tbsp
  • extra-virgin olive oil - 1.0 tbsp
  • white wine vinegar - 1.0 tsp
  • Salt - 1.0 to taste
  • pepper - 1.0 to taste

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Grate the cucumber using a box grater and place it in a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Squeeze out excess moisture from the cucumber.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine the grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped dill, extra-virgin olive oil, and white wine vinegar.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Step 4

Season the Tzatziki with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.

Step 5

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the Tzatziki for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Before serving, drizzle a bit of olive oil on top and garnish with additional fresh dill if desired.
