In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and salt. Add chicken pieces, coat well, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add butter. Sauté chopped onions until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add tomato puree, garam masala, kasuri methi, and sugar. Cook until the mixture thickens.
Stir in cream and mix well. Add the cooked chicken pieces to the sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan bread or rice.
Serve it hot and enjoy!
I found the sauce a bit too sweet. Maybe I added too much tomato paste. The chicken was also a little bland, even after marinating. Disappointed.
The flavors were pretty good, but the chicken wasn't as tender as I'd hoped. I'll experiment with a different cooking method next time.
Absolutely delicious! The sauce was so creamy and flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. My family devoured this Chicken Tikka Masala. Will definitely make it again!
Wow! This recipe is incredible. The creamy sauce, the tender chicken, the perfect blend of spices. My family loved it. Will definitely be making this again and again.
The flavor was good, but I think the sauce could have been a little thicker. I also added a pinch of sugar to balance the acidity.
