Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking dish with a light coating of cooking spray.
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In another shallow dish, whisk eggs. Dip each chicken cutlet in the egg mixture, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
Top each chicken cutlet with tomato sauce, spreading evenly. Then, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired. Serve hot with spaghetti or your favorite side dish.
Good recipe. The chicken was well-cooked and the cheese melted beautifully. I'd suggest using a slightly better quality of mozzarella for an even richer flavor.
Really enjoyed this. The cheese was perfectly melted and the chicken was tender. My only suggestion would be to season the chicken a bit more before breading. Otherwise, a great recipe!
This is my go-to recipe for Chicken Parmesan now! It's so easy to make and always turns out delicious. The combination of the crispy chicken, the tangy sauce, and the gooey cheese is pure perfection. Highly recommend!
This was a really delicious meal. The flavors were great and it was easy to put together. I added a bit of garlic powder and onion powder to the breading, which I think improved the taste.
Best Chicken Parmesan I've ever made! The breading was perfectly golden and crispy. The sauce was so flavorful and the cheese was melted to perfection. It was the perfect comfort food.
