Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Prepare chicken: Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to 1/2-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
Set up breading station: In three separate shallow dishes, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Bread chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture. Ensure chicken is fully coated.
Pan-fry chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove from skillet and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Top and bake: Spread marinara sauce over each chicken breast and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Garnish with fresh basil (optional). Serve hot with spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
This was a pretty good Chicken Parmesan. I think the key is to not overcook the chicken. I added a little bit of garlic powder to the breading, which I think enhanced the flavor.
It was okay. The chicken was a little dry, but the cheese and sauce were good. Maybe I needed to cook the chicken for less time.
Excellent! This recipe is perfect. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were spot on. Best Chicken Parmesan I've ever had.
Best Chicken Parmesan I've ever made! The instructions were clear, and the result was perfect. The mozzarella melted beautifully.
Absolutely delicious! The chicken was so tender, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. My family loved it! Will definitely make this again.
