Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil - 10.4 oz
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces - 1.6 fl oz
  • 4 ounces Spanish chorizo, sliced - 7.9 bottle
  • 1 large onion, chopped - 5.2 whole
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped - 5.7 as needed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced - 5.2 to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups paella rice (Bomba or Arborio) - 1.5 box
  • 1/2 teaspoon saffron threads - 6.3 as needed
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika - 9.7 g
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste - 5.9 can

Cooking Steps

Step 1

In a large paella pan or wide skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and chorizo; cook until browned.

Step 2

Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in rice, saffron, smoked paprika, and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Arrange shrimp, mussels, and clams over the rice. Cover and cook until seafood is cooked through, about 10 minutes.

Step 6

Garnish with peas and parsley. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve hot and enjoy the authentic flavors of Spanish Paella.
