Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Top each chicken breast with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and mozzarella is melted and bubbly.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra basil, if desired.
A very nice and simple recipe. The chicken was tender, and the balsamic glaze gave it a great taste. It's a perfect weeknight meal, easy and delicious.
Good but could be better. I would suggest adding some garlic and herbs to the chicken while cooking to enhance the flavor.
It was good, but not amazing. The balsamic flavor was a bit overpowering for my taste. I might try using a little less next time. The chicken was cooked well, though.
Simple, yet elegant. I loved how easy this recipe was to follow. The mozzarella melted beautifully, and the basil gave it a lovely fragrance. I would recommend adding a little more salt to the chicken while cooking.
I found the recipe a little bland. Maybe I didn't add enough seasoning. The chicken was a little dry. I might try it again with some modifications.
