Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.
In another shallow dish, whisk eggs. Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
Place the cooked chicken cutlets in the prepared baking dish. Top each cutlet with tomato sauce and a slice of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Serve hot with spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
It was good, but not amazing. The chicken was a little dry, even though I didn't overcook it. The sauce was fine, but nothing special.
It was alright. The chicken was a little bland, even though I seasoned it well. I think I'll try a different sauce recipe next time to see if it improves it.
Fantastic! Crispy chicken, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted cheese. This is now a regular on our dinner menu.
This is a classic for a reason. The flavors were perfect, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Easy to prepare and a real crowd-pleaser!
Made this last night and everyone loved it. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauce was really tasty. A definite recommend!
