Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.
In another shallow dish, whisk eggs. Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
Place the cooked chicken cutlets in the prepared baking dish. Top each cutlet with tomato sauce and a slice of mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Serve hot with spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
The best Chicken Parmesan recipe I've tried! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and delicious. Absolutely loved it!
The chicken was good, but the sauce was a bit bland. Maybe I needed to add more seasoning. I'll try it again with some adjustments.
A solid Chicken Parmesan. The cheese was melty and perfect. I might add a touch more garlic to the sauce next time, but overall, a great recipe.
Absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the sauce was so flavorful. My family devoured this. Will definitely make it again!
I had some issues with this recipe. The chicken didn't crisp up very well, and the sauce was a bit too acidic for my taste.
