This classic Italian dessert is a delightful combination of creamy mascarpone, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and cocoa powder. The layers of flavors and textures create a rich and satisfying treat that is perfect for any occasion. Tiramisu is surprisingly easy to make at home, requiring no baking and minimal effort. It's a crowd-pleaser that can be prepared ahead of time, making it ideal for parties or a simple dessert for your family. The coffee flavor can be adjusted to your liking, and you can even add a touch of liquor for an extra kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled - 4.0 quarter
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur or rum (optional) - 7.9 cm
  • 16 ounces mascarpone cheese, at room temperature - 7.7 box
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar - 3.6 mg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 3.1 jar
  • 24 ladyfingers - 2.4 g
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting - 2.5 tsp
8 Servings

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Brew strong coffee and let it cool. Mix with coffee liqueur or rum (optional).

Step 2

In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Step 4

In a serving dish, layer the soaked ladyfingers to cover the bottom.

Step 5

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.

Step 6

Repeat layers: soaked ladyfingers, then the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Step 7

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 8

Before serving, dust generously with cocoa powder.

Easy to follow instructions and the end result was yummy. I like that this recipe doesn't require any baking! The cocoa powder on top made it look beautiful.

A very good tiramisu. I followed the recipe as closely as I could, and it turned out great. I might add a little more coffee next time, as I like a stronger coffee flavor. Overall, a delicious dessert.

Really enjoyed this tiramisu. The ladyfingers absorbed the coffee beautifully. It was a hit at my dinner party! Will definitely make it again.
