This recipe brings the rustic flavors of Italy to your kitchen. It's a simple yet satisfying dish, perfect for a family dinner or a cozy night in. The combination of juicy tomatoes, fragrant basil, and creamy mozzarella creates a symphony of tastes and textures that will transport you to the sunny Italian countryside. This dish is easy to prepare and can be adapted to your liking. Serve it with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce, and a glass of your favorite Italian wine for a complete and authentic experience. Buon appetito! Feel free to add more vegetables such as bell peppers, zucchini, or eggplant for a heartier meal. You can also substitute the fresh mozzarella with smoked mozzarella or provolone for a different flavor profile. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. If you're short on time, you can use canned crushed tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes, but the flavor will be slightly different.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced - 2.5 qt

This is my new go-to recipe! So easy and flavorful. The crusty bread is a must-have to soak up all the delicious sauce. I sometimes add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little extra zing.

Absolutely delicious! The fresh basil and mozzarella really make this dish sing. Simple to make, but tastes like something from a fancy restaurant. Will definitely be making this again and again!

Absolutely amazing! This dish is bursting with flavor. The mozzarella was perfectly melted, and the tomatoes were cooked to perfection. A true Italian classic!

I was a little disappointed with this recipe. The tomatoes didn't have much flavor, and the dish was a bit bland overall. I'll try it again with more seasoning.

It was alright. The tomatoes were a bit too acidic for my taste. Maybe a little bit of sugar would have helped. The basil was fresh and fragrant, though.
