In a large bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened and lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the crème fraîche and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve the Chicken Stroganoff over a bed of cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
The recipe was okay. I found that the chicken was a little bland even after seasoning, but overall it was not a bad meal.
Fantastic! The sauce was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the chicken was so tender. A truly elegant meal that's surprisingly easy to make. Five stars!
It was okay. The chicken was a little dry, and I felt like the sauce could have used more seasoning. The noodles were cooked well, and the overall flavor was decent.
Absolutely delicious! The creamy mushroom sauce was to die for, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The whole family loved it, even my picky eaters! Will definitely make this again.
Very good recipe. The flavors all come together nicely. The mushrooms added a great depth of flavor. I would make some adjustments to the amount of salt used.
