In a large bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened and lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the crème fraîche and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve the Chicken Stroganoff over a bed of cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
I didn't enjoy this recipe. The sauce was too thin and didn't have enough flavor. I think the cooking times could be adjusted.
I had some issues with this recipe. The chicken didn't sear properly, and the sauce became a bit watery. I followed the instructions carefully, so I'm not sure what went wrong.
This is the best stroganoff recipe I've ever tried! The balance of flavors is perfect, and it's surprisingly quick to make. Highly recommend!
Good, solid recipe. It's a classic for a reason. I used a different type of mushroom, and it worked out great. Would make it again.
A very good stroganoff! The instructions were clear, and the dish came together easily. I added a bit more salt and pepper to my taste. Would recommend.
