Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown. Do not fully cook the chicken at this stage.
Place the partially cooked chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Top each with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the chicken is cooked through.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired. Serve with your favorite pasta.
Fantastic recipe! The breading was perfect, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. A definite keeper. I will be making this often.
Really good! The chicken was crispy, but next time I'll add a little more seasoning to the breading. The sauce was delicious, though. A solid weeknight meal.
This Chicken Parmesan was absolutely amazing! The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the sauce had so much flavor. My family devoured it! Will definitely make this again.
The recipe was fine, but the chicken wasn't as crispy as I would have liked. The sauce was good, but nothing spectacular.
Best chicken parmesan recipe I have ever tried! The chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sauce was perfect.
