Brew strong coffee and let it cool. In a shallow dish, combine cooled coffee with rum or marsala (optional).
In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
Arrange a layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
Repeat layers of ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, ending with a layer of cream. Dust generously with cocoa powder. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
I found the recipe to be too complicated. The result was not that great. I'll try a different recipe next time.
This recipe is perfection! The flavors blend together beautifully, and the texture is spot-on. Easy to follow and the outcome is amazing. It's a crowd-pleaser every single time!
Five stars all the way! This tiramisu is the perfect dessert. It's rich, creamy, and utterly delicious. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend!
It was okay. The flavor was good, but the ladyfingers got a bit soggy. I think I might have dipped them in the coffee for too long. I'll try again, paying closer attention to that step.
Very good and easy to follow. I omitted the alcohol, and it still tasted fantastic. Chilling for several hours is definitely key to letting the flavors develop. Will be making this again for sure.
