Brew strong coffee and let it cool. In a shallow dish, combine cooled coffee with rum or marsala (optional).
In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
Arrange a layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
Repeat layers of ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, ending with a layer of cream. Dust generously with cocoa powder. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
The taste was pretty good, but the texture wasn't quite right. Some layers were too wet. Will try again with a shorter dip time for the ladyfingers.
Absolutely amazing! This is the best tiramisu recipe I've found. It's easy to follow, and the results are consistently perfect. I've made it multiple times and get rave reviews every time.
Good recipe. I found the mascarpone mixture a bit too sweet, so I might reduce the sugar next time. Otherwise, the instructions were clear, and the final result was delicious. Definitely worth making again.
Excellent! This tiramisu was a hit at my dinner party. Everyone loved it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the result is a truly decadent dessert.
Very good! The mascarpone cream was incredibly smooth. I might add a little more coffee to the ladyfingers next time for a stronger coffee flavor.
