Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken inside and out and pat it dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and pepper.
Rub the herb mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get some under the skin of the breast. Place the lemon halves inside the chicken cavity.
Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Carve the chicken and serve with your favorite sides. Roasted vegetables or a fresh salad pair perfectly.

Not a fan, unfortunately. The chicken tasted bland, and the skin didn't crisp up as much as I'd hoped. Followed the recipe exactly, but the outcome was disappointing.
Loved this recipe! The chicken was incredibly tender and the skin was perfectly crispy. The flavors were amazing. Highly recommend!
Best roasted chicken recipe I've ever tried! The chicken was so moist and tender, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.
