Cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
Stir in the cooked linguine and toss to coat with the sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving.
Good, but nothing extraordinary. The spice level was good, but the flavors didn't really pop. I might try adding a touch of sugar next time to balance the acidity.
Very flavorful! I appreciated the simplicity of the recipe and the quick cooking time. Great for a busy weeknight.
Best shrimp scampi recipe I've ever tried! The flavor is incredible and the dish is so easy to make. Highly recommend.
Wow! This recipe is a keeper. The balance of flavors is incredible – the spice, the garlic, the lemon... everything works so well together. My family loved it!
This was a delicious and easy weeknight meal. I added a bit more red pepper flakes for extra spice, and it was perfect. The linguine cooked up nicely too.
