In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and salt. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange marinated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through. Alternatively, grill or pan-fry the chicken.
In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
Add tomato puree, diced tomatoes, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and a pinch of sugar. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in heavy cream and butter. Mix well and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add the baked/grilled chicken pieces to the sauce. Stir to coat the chicken evenly. Simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot with naan bread or rice.
Absolutely incredible! The sauce was so creamy and flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. This is the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've ever had, and I've tried many!
I'm not sure what went wrong, but the sauce tasted a bit bland. I followed the recipe exactly. The chicken was okay, but the lack of flavor in the sauce was disappointing. I'll probably try another recipe next time.
The dish was okay, but the instructions were a bit vague. I had to experiment a bit with the cooking times. The taste was pretty good, but I wished the sauce was a bit thicker.
Really enjoyed making this recipe. The chicken was really well marinated. I used Greek yogurt and let it sit overnight. The flavors were amazing.
Really enjoyed this recipe. The spice blend was spot-on, and the chicken was tender. I used a cast iron skillet to get a nice char on the chicken, which added a great depth of flavor. Will definitely make it again.
