Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Transfer chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet. Top each with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh basil (optional) and serve immediately.
This recipe is amazing! The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The marinara sauce was a great complement. Will be making this again soon!
This Chicken Parmesan is restaurant-quality! My family raved about it. The key is definitely to sear the chicken first. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfect!
I was disappointed. The chicken was burnt on the outside and not cooked through in the middle. Maybe my oven runs hot. The sauce was also too bland. I will try a different recipe.
Loved it! The combination of flavors was perfect. The cheese melted beautifully, and the chicken was cooked just right. I added some basil at the end for extra freshness.
The recipe was ok. My chicken was a little dry, and the sauce was a little too watery. I’ll try a different brand of marinara sauce next time.
