Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Transfer chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet. Top each with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh basil (optional) and serve immediately.
Absolutely fantastic! The chicken came out perfectly crispy, and the sauce was so flavorful. My family devoured it! I added some sautéed mushrooms to the sauce, which was a great addition.
This recipe is fantastic! So easy to follow, and the chicken came out perfectly tender and juicy. The marinara sauce was the perfect touch. A definite family favorite!
Delicious! The crispy chicken and melted cheese were perfect. My kids loved it. I added a little bit of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a little kick.
Great recipe! Easy to follow and the result was delicious. The only thing I'd change is adding a bit more cheese on top. Otherwise, perfect!
This recipe is a keeper! The crispy crust on the chicken was amazing. I used a store-bought marinara sauce to save time, and it still tasted fantastic. Highly recommend.
