Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In another shallow dish, whisk eggs. Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
Place breaded chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from oven. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast, then top with mozzarella cheese slices.
Return to oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired. Serve hot over spaghetti or with your favorite side dish.
Very good recipe. Simple to follow. I added a pinch of red pepper flakes for some extra spice, and it was perfect.
It was good, but not great. The chicken was a little dry, even though I didn't overcook it. The sauce was good, but I've had better. Might try it again, adjusting the cooking time.
This recipe is perfect! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the breading was so crispy. The sauce was the best part. So flavorful. I will definitely be making it again.
Best Chicken Parmesan I've ever made! The breading was perfectly golden and crunchy. The sauce was so flavorful. Definitely a keeper!
Really enjoyed this recipe. The instructions were clear, and the final product was delicious. I added some fresh basil on top, and it was a great addition.
