In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and add the chicken pieces. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it's browned on all sides.
Stir in the chopped mangoes, green chilies, and a splash of water. Bring to a simmer.
Cover the pan and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
Serve hot with basmati rice or naan bread. Enjoy your delicious Mango Chili Chicken!
This is a keeper! The sweetness of the mango complements the chili perfectly. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The aroma while cooking was divine! Served it with basmati rice, as suggested. Excellent!
It was alright. The mango flavor was nice, but I felt it could use a bit more spice. The chicken was okay, but not as flavorful as I'd hoped.
Incredible! The best mango chili chicken I've ever tasted. The flavor is out of this world. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this recipe.
Enjoyed this recipe very much. The flavors are unique and tasty. Chicken was tender and juicy. I would suggest the addition of cooking instructions. Very well balanced.
Absolutely loved this recipe! The flavors are incredible, and it's surprisingly easy to make. The aroma while cooking was heavenly. I served it with basmati rice, as suggested. Will definitely be making it again!
