In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and add the chicken pieces. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it's browned on all sides.
Stir in the chopped mangoes, green chilies, and a splash of water. Bring to a simmer.
Cover the pan and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
Serve hot with basmati rice or naan bread. Enjoy your delicious Mango Chili Chicken!
Very good! The balance of flavors is excellent. The chicken was tender. I added some lime juice at the end for extra zest. A great dish for any occasion.
The flavors were interesting, but the dish was a little too sweet for me. I might try it again with a little less mango next time. The chicken was cooked well.
A really enjoyable meal. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was delicious. I did add a little extra chili. The dish was very colorful and appealing.
I was disappointed. The chicken was a little tough, and the flavors were not as pronounced as I expected. I think it needed more marinade time.
Good recipe. The yogurt marinade did a great job of making the chicken tender. The spice level was just right for my taste. A bit more information about the cooking method (pan-fry, bake, etc.) would be helpful.
