We take 1 kilogram of figs, 600 grams of sugar and 0.5 cups of water.
Pour sugar into a saucepan, add water and boil the syrup. While it boils, quickly cut off the cuttings from the fig and cut it in half.
As soon as the syrup boils and the sugar dissolves, add the figs and let it boil, removing the foam. Fruit should boil for 10 minutes. Then add 1 tablespoon of pectin and let it boil for another 3 minutes.
Pour the finished jam into jars and tightly close the lids.
Voila, your winter fig treat is ready.
Bon appetit!
